Her continued education keeps her motivation strong and her techniques up to date. Clarissa's skills and knowledge have bee shaped by training with multiple national hair artists and through the education opportunities provided by the top product manufactures. She spent 9 years with the Scruples education team as a national platform artist bringing her passion for hair to other stylists.
Most recently Clarissa partnered with Magan Frers and opened Theory Salon. Their vision was to create a salon environment where clients feel welcome
and the stylists are appreciated. Theory Salon is a warm and inviting salon with talented stylists who like to express themselves and have fun while
making each client feel beautiful.
I have been a stylist in Charlotte for 14 years and I have studied with some amazing artists. TIGI, Vidal Sassoon, and Scruples have been some of the most influential.
For the last 4 years it's been a privilege to be the co-owner of Theory Salon. I've put my heart and soul into creating an atmosphere that evokes
beauty that best suits the individual.
In 1986 Bonnie was honored to spend a year working as an assistant stage artist for Framesi and Roffler, where she achieved the status of a Certified Framesi Color Technician and honed here skills in hair color application and theory. She is also a Certified Associate of the Roffler International Franchise System.
Bonnie has been trained in the "Toni and Guy Method" of cutting, which is a firm "renowned for it's comprehensive educational support for it's salons
and training" and is supported by a select group of 24 teaching academies throughout the world. In 2005 Bonnie continued her education in the art of
hair styling by becoming certified in the technique of Bio Ionic retexturizing. In addition, she attended the Vidal Sassoon L.A. Academy and graduated
from the Creative Cutting Course in 2007.
I have participated in many continuing education courses including: Jacques Dessange Advanced Training in Haircutting, Minardi Beauty Focus in Advanced Color and Foil Techniques, Toni and Guy, Wella Advanced Color Techniques, and stylists educator for Profound Beauty, among others. The fact that I LOVE my work, and cherish each and every one of my clients, makes my working relationships very rewarding. As a result, I have enjoyed success in four prestigious salons and spas. Each salon has given me an abundance of fond memories, and a wonderful repeat clientele. On a more personal level, I have achieved great satisfaction participating in several volunteer events, such as: the Look Good, Feel Better division of the American Cancer Society, the Metorlina Aids Project, RAIN, and Locks of Love. Each of these was truly an experience of a lifetime and I would not trade those experiences for the world. My door is always open to new clients. I love meeting new people and facing new challenges. I hope you will give me a call or make an appointment if you are looking for a new salon or stylist. I am sure that, together we can make your styling appointments FUN wile helping YOU feel relaxed and as beautiful as you had hoped, when you walked in the door. As much as I enjoy seeing smiling faces walk IN my door, I know I have done my job when the faces that leave are also smiling.
Let's do a trial run together!
"Traveling to shows inspires me to get back to work in the salon and give clients an amazing fresh look,"
She has put years into and truly enjoys representing some of the finest up styles and bridal work. In the salon Jessica takes her time customizing
clients desired cuts and color to suit their personality and physical features. A few things to know about her would be that she has a very laid
back personality type and is thankful for everything in her life.
"I'm thankful everyday knowing I get to do the job I love. I strive to make every client feel beautiful from the inside out. I love getting to know every client, and see them as part of my extended family. I'm drawn to soft, natural, and sun kissed hair. For budget conscious clients this is great, it's beautiful and grows out natural. I do have to admit I have a soft spot for brunettes."
"I work extended hours during the week and also work Saturdays. If you are looking for a professional stylist with flexible hours, come check me out."
A few things to know about me:
I am a hair stylist because I love it. I have been helping people realize their "hair potential" since I was 10 years old! My parents owned and still own spas. They instilled in me a hard-work ethic and love for animals. The apple doesn't fall from the tree, you know. As your stylist you should know that I hate no-shows and I love transforming people into what they should be and deserve!
Finally you should know that I am: Thanks for reading my bio.
Forever optimistic and artistic,
If you would like to book an appointment with one of our extremely talented stylists just give me a call.
See you soon!
I have a full cosmetology license and love learning and doing hair.
In my spare time, i love to play around with my four dogs, spend quality time with my family and hangout with my friends.

With 18 years experience in hair design, Clarissa has a great passion for hair and making people beautiful. She specializes in color, incorporating
innovative techniques to accommodate the shape and style of each cut.
I love my job! I have been so blessed to have found an occupation that is as rewarding as the beauty industry. Everyday I have the pleasure of giving
someone else a more beautiful version of themselves. I love having the opportunity to create a color, cut and style that best suits a client's skin
and eyes. I love being able to see a face and know what will frame it best. I've got a talented eye when it comes to blonds, it's my specialty.
Bonnie established herself as a licensed stylist over 20 years ago in the Queen City after graduation from the Roffler Hairstyling Institute of
Charlotte in 1986 where she was formally trained in the art of hair cutting, styling and coloring. Due to the fact that many of her clients live and
work throughout the Charlotte area, Bonnie decided to operate in the Dilworth/South End area, which was convenient and accessible to the majority of
her clientele…that was fourteen years ago and Bonnie's client base continues to grow.
Hello! Amy Brett Hammond here, I'm known by most of my friends and clients as being a lot of fun, somewhat daring, always enthusiastic, and very
dedicated to the natural integrity of my client's hair. This dedication along with my loyalty, dependability and eagerness to always continue learning
enables me to help you stay up-to-date with new and refreshing styles.
Jessica has spent the last several years receiving her experience and influence working as a stylist in Tampa and Charlotte. She stays current in the
hair industry by training and working upcoming hair shows with the Aquage team.
"I'm originally from Lake Placid, NY. I've been in Charlotte for 10 years, and have enjoyed living in South End last 6. I love the energy and the
culture of our neighborhood. Since graduating from the Aveda Institute I have had advanced education in Aquage, TIGI, and Scruples."
I'm Claire and I'm a proud native of Charlotte, more specific, Dilworth/South End. I joined the Theory Salon team about a year ago and found it to be
the perfect fit. I've been in beauty industry for over 6 years and specialize in women's cut and color.
Hi There! I am Sidonia Evangeline McPheters. Quite a mouthful, I know. Everyone calls me Sydney, or Syd-much easier to remember and say. If I were a
cartoon character, I would be Josie from the "Pussycats", 'cause I'm fun AND fashionable.
Hi! My name is Susan. I've been with Theory since day one, over four and a half years ago. I do my best to make sure that the clients and
stylists are taken care of daily. I'm a bit of an imperfect perfectionist. I like things organized with just a hint of chaos…it keeps
the girls on their toes.
My name is Mai (my) Le. I grew up in Los Angeles, CA and moved to the Charlotte area about ten years ago. I am 24 years young and currently
work as an assistant at theory Salon.
